Our Mission

Self Made Bros is dedicated to creating a nurturing and empowering community for all Black Trans Masculine individuals and Black Trans Men, fostering connection, visibility, and resilience.

Our mission is to facilitate meaningful interactions and shared experiences through intentional travel meet-ups across America. By amplifying the voices of Black Trans Masculine and Black Trans Men, we aim to let them know they are not alone. Rather, they are part of a vibrant and thriving community.

Self Made Bros strives to be a beacon of support, solidarity, and celebration, promoting a sense of belonging and unity among black trans masculine individuals and trans men.

Our Vision

Self Made Bros envisions a future where all black trans masculine individuals and trans men feel seen, valued, and connected. Through our travel meet-ups, we aspire to build a nationwide network that transcends geographical boundaries, providing a platform for sharing stories, fostering friendships, and celebrating the diverse identities within our community. We envision a world where Self Made Bros becomes a catalyst for positive change, challenging stereotypes, and promoting understanding. Ultimately, we see Self Made Bros as a dynamic force that empowers trans masculine and trans men individuals to embrace their authentic selves, navigate the world with confidence, and contribute to a more inclusive and compassionate society

About Quinton

Heyy I'm Quinton, I go by Que (like the letter Q) for short, and I'm from NC. I am a stealth black trans man, which is why my photos are AI generated, but that doesn't mean I want to step away from my community. The idea of Self Made Bros came to me on a phone call while working my delivery job. I'm an avid social media scroller and what I saw online was too many black transmasculine and black trans men looking for others, either near them, similar to them, or just people to follow online. I thought about all the organizations or social media pages that are no longer active or aren't as active anymore and I became sad. We as black trans men, and as black transmasculine individuals, should have a space where if you point someone to it, you know someone will pick up the phone; insert Self Made Bros. I choose someone, who already has a business up and going, to start this journey with me and I could not be happier.

About Alex

Yerrrr, I'm Alexander Williams, a NYC enthusiast with a mission for positive vibes! I love sports (I mean ball is life right?), reading, video games, movies, music (I sang a lil summin summin), and cooking (plant based papi). This project? It's all about shaking up the game and making a difference. Imagine a space where everyone's story matters – that's the goal here. Born and bred on the lively streets of Harlem, this venture is my way of bringing that vibrant energy into the mix. No stuffy suits here, just a laid-back journey into representation and diversity. It's not a business; it's a chill vibe with a purpose. So, if you're up for a casual ride into making the world a bit more inclusive, join me! Let's mix business with a whole lot of good vibes.
